As human beings, who live here on planet earth, our job is to figure out how to continue to be in this constant state of expansion & embrace & decipher what the possibilities are & which ones are healthy & appropriate for us in this moment in time!

Even the most well practiced of us need a little help from time to time knowing if we are off, on, or in need of assistance in returning to our authentic self. My Philosophy as a Connection Coach
I believe that human beings are biologically, psychologically and energetically hard wired for Connection. In Connection Coaching, the etiology of our work together starts with an inner exploration for the presence & absence of Connection to our Authentic Self. I believe that happiness is not just a feeling, it is how we measure our Connection to our authentic self. The greater the Happiness we experience, the greater the connection is to our Authentic selves. Unhappiness is the natural result of us being Disconnected from our authentic selves, and that Misery, is the ultimate product of Disconnection.
Just like I believe that the resolution to our unhappiness is happiness, I believe the resolution to our Disconnection is Connection. Connection to our authentic selves is at the root of our happiness.
I believe that we human beings experience Connection by being seen and heard and the first people we need to see and hear is our selves. It is this process of seeing and hearing ourselves that elicits happiness. It is learning and practicing this process of seeing and hearing ourselves that we arrive connected to our authentic self .
So what gets in the way of Connection to my Authentic self ?
Think about Connection & Disconnection like an electrical power line. If my electricity goes out in my home, I want to figure out where in the electrical line there is a problem, a Disconnection with the power. I want to become Aware and examine all the steps of Connection that are involved with the power process. When looking for Disconnection, we must look at the entirety of the system: Starting from the power plant, to the electrical lines, to my home. Once I assess where the Disconnection is, like a fallen tree branch on the power line, I can begin the process of Reconnection, repair, where the power begins to flow freely again, where my home has lights, heat, and other wonderful things powered by Connection.
Connection Coaching is the process by which we learn to identify and work with both the steps of Connection and the steps of Disconnection so we can determine what is working in our life (Connection), where there is a problem (Disconnection) and how to identify and repair the problem (Reconnection).
When we remember and practice one of the core principles of Connection Coaching, which is we are the only people we can change, we begin to shift our attention from outward events, to our own internal landscape, where we can begin the first crucial steps of assessing our own levels of Disconnection and Connection.
We have been taught to put the majority of our attention, our focus, on external events, situations and experiences. While it is important to look at and deal with these external events, at the core of Connection Coaching, before choosing any external action, we must learn and practice, the steps of being Connected to ourselves. I believe if we learn and practice the steps of being Connected to ourselves, the subsequent actions we choose will also be Connected.
What is Connection?
I believe the definition of Connection is made up of these 3 parts.
Disconnecting: First, we all engage in disconnecting. Our job is to learn to recognize our disconnecting thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that move us away from our authentic selves.
Reconnecting: The process by which we have discovered we are disconnecting. Here we learn how to STOP and start the return trip back into connecting with our Authentic selves. In connection coaching, Reconnecting is where we put our emphasis, our primary focus in the Connection process.
Connecting: This is where our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are back in harmony with our authentic selves. We can now, by using the steps of Connection, see and hear our true, healthy inner voice and act harmoniously from this Connective state.
Disconnection is the continued state of being and staying in disconnected thoughts, feelings and behaviors that do not match our authentic selves.
Connection is not a destination. It is not perfection. It is not getting some place and staying there forever. Connection is a life long process of growth and deepening. A ever present cycle of Disconnecting, Reconnecting, and Connecting.
What is Connection Coaching?
Connection Coaching is an educational process of examining, learning and becoming aware about the underlying systems of Connection and Disconnection. It is my belief, depending upon on which system we are using, Connection or Disconnection, that will determine our success in having outcomes that match who we truly are and want to be.
Connection Coaching walks us through the steps of both Connection and Disconnection so we can begin to internalize the skillsets of recognizing what is not working, making a plan for repair and change, and what is working,
While it is important to look at and understand what is not working, Connection Coaching emphasizes attention on what is working, builds on already present Connective strengths and provides real time training in transferring these Connective skills to all areas of our lives.
Each one of us brings to the table our own unique thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. Think about Connection Coaching as having your own personal guide to help you recognize and navigate the specific ways you manifest and express Connection and Disconnection. Connection Coaching helps us see the proverbial forest for the trees. It helps us to shift perspectives from a fixed and narrow focus to a broader, more expansive view.
Connection Coaching uses real time interventions, insights, and tools from neurology, psychology, biology, and spiritual practices. Together in Connection Coaching we learn to build a Tool box of Connection that we can bring and use everywhere we go. This Tool box of Connection allows us to enter the ever present Now, where our stress levels drop, we self regulate, and return to the correct nervous system where our Authentic selves live.
Connection Coaching can strengthen and build upon skillsets, Tools, that were learned and used in previous therapeutic, medical, and insight focused environments. These include mental health, meditation, yoga, self help exploration, education, medical, and spiritual investigations.
By examining these existing Tool boxes developed from these environments, Connection coaching can help deepen and expand the effectiveness for not only the use of the current tools, it can help determine which tools are not working, the need for new tools, and how to use existing tools in a new way.
The NOW - Why is it such an important focal point?
So why is The Now such an important focal point? Think about it. The Now is all we have. It is the one constant in an ever changing, ever shapeshifting, ever moving experience we call life. Past and future do not exist independently. They exist with in the now. Let me illustrate. Think about the last time you were on a trip. When you look back and remember all the adventures, people you were with, and places you visited, even though your memories are from the past the feelings you are having are being experienced in The Now. Same is true if you are planning a future trip. You think about the adventures, people, and places you are going to have in the future, yet you are experiencing it in The Now.
The Now is the Tool Box that holds all our tools for Connection, success, and solutions. The Now is the only place where our joy, choices and authentic selves lives. This is why Connection Coaching’s emphasis is on identifying when we are disconnected from The Now, learning to return to The Now and to be and live in The Now. So if you come to Connection Coaching with a long standing, well established practice, an intermittently used practice, or you are a novice and have little practice at being in The Now, you are in the right place!
